On Sunday April 13 motorcycling maverick Nick Sanders sets off on his most extreme – and final – solo challenge, named Parallel World.
The world’s foremost two-wheeled adventurer plans to cover 55,000 miles, through five continents and 45 countries in just 120 days. And Hein Gericke Stockwell is hosting the official launch event. If you’re in the area, it would be great if you could come down on the day to help us give Nick a fantastic send-off.
From 1pm til 3, TV chefs The Hairy Bikers will be whipping up his last meal on British soil, which everyone who attends can share. And there will be prize draws to win Nick’s HG around-the-world equipment.
Then at 4pm Nick will lead a ride-out from the store to the Greenwich Meridian Time Line, for an official photo call with his supporters before he heads of on this amazing test of motorcycling endurance. And Nick invites anyone who wants to, to ride alongside him on the UK leg.
But don’t worry if you can’t make it. From Friday 11 April you’ll be able to log on to www.hein-gericke.com/parallelworld for updates, videos, blogs, photos and podcasts direct from Nick as he circumnavigates the globe the real long way round.
